About Crying Sky

Crying Sky: Poetry & Conversation was founded in 2004 by W.E. Butts and S Stephanie. We are committed to publishing well-crafted, intriguing poetry that is engaged in reflecting the human condition and spirit. The journal also seeks to facilitate thought-provoking dialogue about issues concerning contemporary poetics with essays and interviews.

About The Editors

S Stephanie is the author of Throat, a chapbook from Igneus Press. Her poems have appeared in several literary magazines and anthologies, including Birmingham Poetry Review, The Sun, and Third Coast.

W.E. Butts is the recipient of a Pushcart Prize nomination, and his poetry has been published frequently in such journals as Mid-American Review, Poet Lore, and Poetry East. His most recent collection is a chapbook, White Bees (Oyster River Press).
